Elektron Jurnal Imiah was first published twice a year for the printed version in 2009. Then, in 2013, Elektron Jurnal Ilmiah started using the OJS platform for online journal and it's get e-ISSN in 2018, exactly at Vol 10 No 2. In December 2018, the publishing process in Elektron Jurnal Ilmiah has been using full electronics. January 2020, the journal were registered and indexed to several website, including Google Scholar, IPI, Sinta, PKP Index, etc. July 2021, Elektron Jurnal Ilmiah was accepted to be indexed by DOAJ.
